May Multi-page Scrapbook Workshop

Multi-Page Scrapbooking Workshop
Thursday, May 17th, 5:30 - 9:30

We will be using The Cut Above Kit - This Is Me.  This kit is originally designed to be used mainly for journaling which is a wonderful set.  But if you'd rather use this beautiful set for more pictures and a smaller amount of journaling, I've redesigned the pages to include more picture mats.  This kit is from the
Seasonal 1 idea book, so I have stocked up on a few extra kits in case you are still interested in doing this version of the workshop once the Seasonal 1 idea book retires at the end of April 2018.

(P.S. My Hostess Club scrapbooking club members, you have already ordered this for the May 17th workshop)

The redesigned kit with supplemental cardstock and cutting guide
is a little over $35.00.  If you already have the kit and just need
the supplemental cardstock  and cutting guide - $7.00.

Here's a view of the original kit.

A beautiful set of layouts either way you choose to use it.
Happy Scrappin' !

Picture My Life Optional Hop

Close To My Heart

Picture My Life Blog Hop

If you are not familiar with Picture My Life cards by Close To My Heart, they are 4x6 and 3x4 cards perfect for pocket scrapbooking.  However, as you will see in today's blog hop, they can be used for so much more!

A blog hop is just one big loop of fun, creative ideas.  If you are coming from Michelle's blog, you're on the right path. If you are starting here, just look for the link to Alayne's blog at the end of my post.  Each blog you visit will feature links to continue following the hop.  If you get lost along the way, you can always find a complete list of blog hop participants on Melinda's blog.
This blog hop features many creative uses of the Picture My Life cards available in individual sets or as a part of each paper pack from Close To My Heart.  At first, I was not a fan of PML (Picture My Life Cards) since I don't usually do pocket scrapbooking.  However, I have become a believer and use them regularly now in both traditional scrapbooking and card making.

For my blog hop project today, I used cards from the Be-YOU-tiful pack.

The cool thing about these cards is that one side of the card is printed horizontally and the other side is printed vertically.  My project is a layout for my granddaughter's scrapbook.  At 4 years old, she is little, but very determined and mighty,
so the sentiments here fit her perfectly.

PML Cards: Be-YOU-tiful
Thin Cuts: Block Alphabet

Just another note:  Often times when designing scrapbook pages using our paper pack PML sheets, I look for sections of three PML cards that can be used together on a layout.  Sometimes I end up using one section as a picture mat, so I might place a photo mat in one of the three connected sections.  Here are some samples:

6 x 12 portion of PML sheet from Stargazer used on this layout.
6 x 12 portion of the PML sheet from Gimme  Some Sugar used on this layout.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Now, join me as we hop on to see what creative idea Alayne has for using Picture My Life cards.

Be sure to visit the other consultants who have joined in on this blog hop for lots of inspiration.  If for some reason, you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of participating consultants on Melinda's blog to get back on track.
