May Stamp of the Month Classic Summer Bash Blog hop

Close To My Heart

May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

A blog hop is just one big loop of fun, creative ideas.  If you are coming from Michelle's blog  you're on the right path. If you are starting here, just look for the link to Jen's blog at the end of my post.  Each blog you visit will feature links to continue following the hop.

This month's stamp set, Classic Summer Bash, features 25 stamps and is available only through the month of May.  You can purchase this set for $17.95, or get it for only $5 with a qualifying order of $50 (US) through your Close To My Heart consultant.

My project is a scrapbook page using the stamp of the month along with papers from the Whimsy Fundamental Collection of papers.

Here's a close-up look at some of the stamping.

The lemon slices were stamped with canary ink and shaded with
ShinHan markers.

The straw was stamped with Pixie ink and shaded with the Tender Pink ShinHan  marker.  I slit the rim of the jar at the top line and the bottom line, and then again at the level of the lemonade.  I shaded the lemonade with yellow markers listed below and then stamped the lemon slices with Canary ink on top of the coloring.

CTMH supplies used
Cardstock: White Daisy, Pixie, Canary, Glacier
Paper:  Whimsy Fundamentals paper collectionPixie circle print, Canary, Pixie, and Glacier prints
Stamp Set: Classic Summer Bash (S1805)

Thanks for stopping by today.  Now, join me as we hop on to Jen's blog see what creative ideas she has for this stamp set.

Be sure to visit the other consultants who have joined in on this blog hop for lots of inspiration.  If for some reason, you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of participating consultants on Melinda's blog to get back on track.
