March - April Workshops

To my Workshop Friends

I MISS YOU AND OUR TIME TOGETHER!

I sure hope you are doing well and finding things to occupy your time during these unusual times.  Well, hopefully we'll be able to gather to do scrapbooking workshops again in a few weeks.  In the meantime, I'm sharing the layouts that I've designed and what I have to offer when we are able to resume meeting together again.

If you haven't already ordered supplies from the March/April catalog, you might want to consider ordering the paper packs shown below to complete these workshops while they're still available.

I used colors of cardstock other than those included in the Coordinated Cardstock packs for the Yesterday and Today CS, so you may want to get your supplemental cardstock along with the cutting guide from me.  If you are interested in working on these layouts on your own before we can get together, we can make arrangements for the delivery of your supplemental cardstock.

Here's the Yesterday and Today paper pack plus sticker sheet.

I also used the foil die cuts.

There are kits with heritage layouts available from Close to My Heart
which you can find on my website.

Seas the Day Workshop
I moved away from using the beach theme for some more general layouts.
Again, I used colors of cardstock other than those included in the Coordinated Cardstock packs for the Seas the Day CS, so you may want to get your supplemental cardstock along with the cutting guide from me.  If you are interested in working on these layouts on your own before we can get together, we can make arrangements for the delivery of your supplemental cardstock.

Here's the Seas the Day paper pack.  I didn't use any of the stickers on these layouts.
The embellishment images here are either die cuts of Cricut cuts.

There are other kits available on my website if you are interested in the beach look for these papers.

Crafting Ideas for these unusual times

So many craft ideas, so little time... until now!

During these unusual times, we here at Close To My Heart have been looking for ways we can help our community cope with the unique challenges we are all facing. When it comes to facing increased confinement at home, we can think of no better way to pass the time at home than keeping our hands busy doing something creative. Whether you are looking for something to keep the kids and grandkids occupied or some much needed "me time," we want to support you in any way we can!

As you are well aware, we have no shortage of great ideas here at Close To My Heart, and we wanted to share a few of our current projects that we think would make wonderful time-fillers that you could complete on your own or with any younger apprentice crafters you may have around!

These Are My People

Our March special features a beautiful product collection focusing on the people and relationships that are most important to us. With a complete paper packet + sticker sheet, coordinating stamp set, and a beautiful 6" x 8" Cut Above® album that comes ready to assemble, there is no end to the creative projects you could tackle using this collection!

This fun project just launched last week and is a great one for setting your sights on the upcoming Easter holiday. This special features exclusive wood shapes designed to make two fun Easter banners. Each banner kit also includes a coordinating SVG file so you can decorate the wood shapes with your choice of papers!

March - April CTMH New Product Blog Hop

March - April CTMH New Product Blog Hop

Thanks for visiting our blog hop!   You'll get a chance to see many of the new products for the March/April new idea book.  A blog hop is just one big loop of crafty, fun ideas for paper crafting as you visit each of the connected blogs.  If you are coming from Valerie's blog, you are on the right path.  If you are starting here, just look for the link at the end of my post, (and successive posts) to see which blog to visit next.

Today I am showing scrapbooking layouts I made using the papers from the Yesterday and Today paper packet .  It's a wonderful paper pack for scrapbooking heritage pages, however, the colors are easy to use with masculine themes, for scrapbooking many travel pictures, or really anything you want as the neutral colors will really let the colors of your pictures pop. Here's the paper pack with stickers.

I also used the Foil Cuts designed to use with these papers.

My first layout will be used with pictures of my grandkids' visit to the Civil War Museum.
The letters on this layout came from the Artiste Cricut Collection.

My second layout

This third layout used another new product, the Classic Alphabet Thin Cuts.

Here's a close-up of one of the gear sections so you can see how the Gold Foil paper
was added to accentuate the gears and also to mimic the foil die-cuts on the other layouts. The gears can be found in the Artiste Cricut Collection.

You will love the Yesterday and Today paper pack and other products associated with it.
The products featured here are available only through the life of this idea book which ends April 30th.  After seeing all the great ideas in this blog hop, you're going to want to visit the new idea book here. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom idea book (although you'll enjoy the year long core catalog as well.)

Thanks for stopping by today.  Join me as we hop on to see the creative ideas featured for this idea book on Krista's blog.

Be sure to visit the other consultants who have joined in this blog hop for lots of new product inspiration.  If for some reason you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of participating consultants on Melinda's blog to get back on track.
