This month we have over 40 creative CTMH consultants participating in this blog hop.  We are featuring the Circus Alphabet stamp set with 68 stamps.  What a fun alphabet set to work with for layouts, cards, and other creative projects.

I'm feverishly trying to finish my grandson's scrapbook for his birthday coming up in just a few weeks. I'm using many of the layouts I have created at my previous years' workshops, so the papers from the first layout are from our archives and no longer available.  However my second layout uses a current paper pack.   I've used the Circus Alphabet set for titles.

If you are a longtime blog hop follower, you might recognize this adorable scare crow from a hop a while ago.  He is retired, but near and dear to my heart.  He was current when I first created the page for the workshop.

Here's a little closer shot of the title.

                     

This is a close up of some letters to show you the detail.  I colored in the letters using our Watercolor pencils and then used a white gel pen for the extra details.

Here is another layout using more current paper, the Jubliee pack, and an Indian Corn Blue gingham print from my stash of CTMH retired papers.  I used both upper case and lower case letters as well as the numbers in this layout.

Materials used

Cardstock and Paper packs - Layout 1 - Moonlight (retired); Layout 2 -  Jubliee paper packet (X7181B) plus Indian Corn Blue gingham paper from my retired CTMH stash. 

Inks -  Layout 1 - Black ink,  Layout 2 - Cranberry ink

Other supplies - CTMH Water color pencils (3505 ), white gel pen. Layout 2 also uses Red Shimmer Trim (Z1848)  The punched edge was achieved with a punch that I have in my creative bin.

Retiring Items

It's Coming!!

Well the CTMH convention is coming -- less than 2 weeks away -- and we all know that means the end of the current catalog is drawing to an end.  So I'm sure you'd like to see the retiring products list.   

Many of your favorites from this catalog are on it.  Click here to go my website.  Click on the SHOP tab. Then scroll down to the retiring products.  Once you click on that you will see pictures of everything that is going to retire.

If there is something you really want before the end of this catalog (July 31), you will want to order it as soon as possible to be sure to get it because all items published on the retired list are available on a while-supplies-last basis.  This means once inventory of any retiring product runs out, it will no longer be available to order.  

I have set up an on-line gathering so you can order right away to be sure to get what you want.  It is named End of Catalog Orders.  

1. You will find it  down in the right hand corner of the opening website page.  
2. Place your order on-line and it will be shipped directly to you.  
3. To get the best price on shipping choose "smart post".
4. If you are not comfortable ordering online, you may order through me directly.
5. If we reach a party size order by June 30, (at least $150), I will draw a name from those who have ordered to received the hostess benefits for the June orders.  
6. I will set up a new on-line order beginning in July so another hostess can be drawn for orders placed in July.

3 double layouts featuring ARIANA paper pack

Materials Needed:  Ariana paper pack (x7179b), Sparkles Black Flourishes - Small (z1916) and          additional sheets of cardstock from me to complete the kit.  Materials do need to be pre-ordered.

      Bases for A and B are Outdoor Denim.  The rest of the colored papers are from the Ariana paper pack.  The lacy borders were cut with a punch.

The base pages for these layouts are Crystal Blue cardstock.  Picture mats use the Ariana Gray, White Daisy and Blush cardstocks.  I used remnants of the Sparkle Flourishes Black that I had, but you might be happier working with the small Sparkle Flourishes Black.  The buttons are retired items, but I have enough for the kits.

The base pages for these layouts are Outdoor Demim.  In addition to the Ariana print paper for the picture mats, I also used White Daisy and Barn Red Cardstock. For the faux stitching I used our stitching guide and a wehite gel pen.  I used retired white brads, but pearls or other white embellishments would work well on this layout.

Cardstock and Ink Colors - Cranberry, Outdoor Denim, Indian Corn Blue. and Honey.  The Honey printed paper is from the Jubilee Paper Pack (X7181B).

Other accessories - Red Shimmer trim (Z1848), Sparkles Clear Flourishes-small (Z1812), Bitty Sparkles (Z1263), and Clear Assortment Sparkles (Z1752).

Color Dare

Color Dare #95

This is a card we made at my May card workshop.  We were using the Color Dare #95 colors - Sunset, Olive, and Lagoon.  Many of my cards this month used the masking tape technique which is featured here.
