Kids Valentine Cards 

3 x 3 animals with cute little sayings on the outside

Valentine Wish on the inside

Outside sentiments will be pre-stamped and ready for coloring

Kids kits include: 

• 15 pre-stamped hearts using the stamp set shown below
• 15 enamel hearts
• 15 base cards and coordinating mats for under the hearts
• 15 message inserts
• 15 cellophane envelopes for the cards

Adult kits include:

• Supplies for making 5 Valentine or Thinking of You cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2)
• Floral and heart designs unless you specify some other design you'd like
• Envelopes included
• Card kits can be pre-stamped and ready for you to assemble if unable to attend

Please register and pre-pay for this $10 workshop by February 3rd so that I have time to prepare your kit.

I chose to work with our beautiful new paper pack, Charlotte, paired with the new 

stamp set Springtime Wishes and our new CTMH Springtime Wishes Thin Cuts which 
will work with your Cuttlebug or other die-cutting machines.

First of all, I must thank fellow consultant, Peggy Pawlak, for the inspiration 

on this layout.  She shared a beautiful layout on the CTMH consultant bulletin board 

using a similar paper combination from this packet. 

The nice thing about this layout is that each page can be turned in 

varying directions and it still looks wonderful.   

I learned a lot about working with the new Thin Cuts both by playing
 with them and from the CTMH video about this great new product.

This month we are featuring a 14 piece stamp set, Beloved Bouquet,  

with beautiful roses and sayings for Valentine Cards, Thinking of you, 

and possibilities for wedding and anniversary cards. 

These beautiful images will also be great additions to your scrapbook pages.

The cards I created for this blog hop are embossed with
 Silver Ranger Superfine Embossing Powder 

To shade in each flower I used ink and sponge daubers.
Each of the flowers is raised using 3-D Foam tape.

To get a better view of each design and avoid the glare on the embossing,
 I took the following photos at an angle.

 

For this card, I used Pixie and Fern ink, and White Daisy, Pixie, and 
Slate card stock.  Happy Anniversary is from another stamp set.
 C1605 Happy to Be Friends.

For this card, I used Canary and Fern ink, White Daisy, Black, and Canary card stock.

Congratulations is from another stamp set - D1629 Just to Say Cricut Collection.

The strip at the bottom of the card is Silver Foil Tape, however, it looks black here.

For this card, I used Pixie and Fern ink, White Daisy, Crystal Blue, and Slate card stock.

Thinking of you is from this stamp set, Beloved Bouquet.

White Pines - Six Page Scrap Workshop

$25 Workshop includes White Pines paper pack, White Pines complements, cutting directions, supplemental paper pack, and additional Cricut cuts.   Materials need to be pre-ordered.  I do have one extra kit on hand for this workshop.  Others can be ordered.  Workshop attendees should bring a 12 inch paper trimmer,  scissors, adhesive, pop dots, and any other favorite scrapping tools.

For this hop, I used monochromatic stamp layering and random stamping.  

The inspiration for this technique came from a Jennifer McGuire Ink technique 

video on youtube.  If you would like the link, just message me 

in the comment section below.    

For each card, I random stamped matching the ink with the card stock to create 

the background. I then used White Daisy ink as another layer 

and to fill in some spots with smaller stamps.  

Finally, I used a white gel pen to pop some of the details.

For those of you who come to my technique workshops, 

we will be using this technique at my February workshop.

On the next two close ups you get a better look at the stamping 

that was done with the White Daisy ink. 

As mentioned before, the bright white detailing was done

using a white gel pen.

All supplies used are from Close To My Heart with the exception of the white gel pen.
