July Stamp of the Month

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month

Blog Hop from Close To My Heart

This month we have over 40 creative CTMH consultants participating in this blog hop.  We are featuring the Circus Alphabet stamp set with 68 stamps.  What a fun alphabet set to work with for layouts, cards, and other creative projects.

If you have come here from Pam Jarrett's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go.....

--------------------------------------------------------

I'm feverishly trying to finish my grandson's scrapbook for his birthday coming up in just a few weeks. I'm using many of the layouts I have created at my previous years' workshops, so the papers from the first layout are from our archives and no longer available.  However my second layout uses a current paper pack.   I've used the Circus Alphabet set for titles.

If you are a longtime blog hop follower, you might recognize this adorable scare crow from a hop a while ago.  He is retired, but near and dear to my heart.  He was current when I first created the page for the workshop.

Here's a little closer shot of the title.

This is a close up of some letters to show you the detail.  I colored in the letters using our Watercolor pencils and then used a white gel pen for the extra details.

Here is another layout using more current paper, the Jubliee pack, and an Indian Corn Blue gingham print from my stash of CTMH retired papers.  I used both upper case and lower case letters as well as the numbers in this layout.

Materials used
Cardstock and Paper packs - Layout 1 - Moonlight (retired); Layout 2 -  Jubliee paper packet (X7181B) plus Indian Corn Blue gingham paper from my retired CTMH stash.
Inks -  Layout 1 - Black ink,  Layout 2 - Cranberry ink
Other supplies - CTMH Water color pencils (3505 ), white gel pen. Layout 2 also uses Red Shimmer Trim (Z1848)  The punched edge was achieved with a punch that I have in my creative bin.

Now "hop" on over to Terry Ann Diack's Blog to see what she has created for this Blog hop.  Be sure to visit all the consultants' blogs to get some great crafting ideas!

Remember, the July SOTM is only available until July 31rst!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to get your own set for $17.95 or better yet, for only $5 with a $50 purchase.

I'd love to have a comment from you letting me know you were here.  Thanks!
