For the first set of cards I made, I used white or gold embossing powder and on vellum paper.  The background paper is from the Serenity paper pack,  Since I needed some sympathy cards, I used two M stamps for my sentiments.  The first one is With Deepest Sympathy and the second one is In Your Time of Need.  Sapphire and Blue Belle glitter paper was added for some simple bling to several of these cards.
.

For the second and third card, I masked a portion of the first stamping so that I could continue stamping a strip of flowers for the border of roses.

For the next set of cards, I had been playing around with distress oxide inks to create some background papers.  I liked what I'd created, so I decided to stamp on them. For the first card I fussy cut the floral image.  The white glitter paper was die cut using the Yuletide Borders

The flowers were stamped on White Daisy cardstock that I had pulled through distress oxide inks (Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed, and Picked Raspberry) that had been sprayed with water on my All Purpose mat.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of cardstock that I had pulled off a geli plate that had been brayered with the same three distress oxide inks.

I loved the background on this card.  I had brayered the 3 distress oxides inks on a geli plate and then placed and pulled the paper off three times.  Since my geli plate is round, the swirls came from the rounded edges of the plate.
