February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Doodled Borders

Welcome

Glad you could join us today! If this is your first blog hop, know that it is just one big loop of crafty, fun ideas for paper crafting as you visit each of the connected blogs.  If you are coming from Maureen's blogyou are on the right path.  If you are starting here, just look for the link at the end of my post to Alyson's blog (and successive posts) to see which blog to visit next.

Doodled Borders is a great set for creating texture on cardstock or patterns on cards or other mixed media work.

I used this stamp set to create tone on tone texture on cardstock for my scrapbook layout using paper from the Happiness Lives Here paper pack.

This layout is pretty plain yet because I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for, however, I did like the way I could use so many of the different doodling pieces for this layout.  Here's a few close up shots so you can see the sections were I used the stamp images.

One of my favorite images was this stamp that made the scrolled banners.

Here you see the curly loops on the Smoothie cardstock, the lined image on the Blue Belle cardstock, the repeated dots on the bottom border of both the journaling card and the bottom of the page, as well as another scrolled banner on the journaling card.

Doodled Borders  is available only through the month of February. After seeing all the great ideas in this blog hop, you're going to want to add this stamp of the month to your  collection.  Remember, those of you who signed up as one of my VIP customers and purchase $50 or more, get this stamp set FREE in addition to many other perks of being a VIP customer.  Otherwise you can purchase this set for $18.95, or get it for only $5 with a qualifying order of $50(US) through your Close To My Heart  Maker or you can find it here.
