Stamptacular Blog Hop

Welcome
Glad you could join us today!  A blog hop is one big loop of crafty, fun ideas for paper crafting as you visit each of the connected blogs.  If you are coming from Maureen's blogyou are on the right path.  If you are starting here, just look for the link at the end of my post to Wendy's blog (and successive posts) to see which blog to visit next.

During April, you can enjoy Stamptacular savings on a wide variety of My Acrylix® stamps and stamp + Thin Cuts bundles. There are even five of our most popular stamp sets that were brought back just for this sale! These stamp sets and discounted prices will only be available until April 30.  You can find them here.

In this blog hop, we are sharing examples of work using stamps/thin cuts that are a part of this Stamptacular sale.  Enjoy the ideas!

Flowers on the birdhouse are colored with colored pencils and a white gel pen.  The flowers around the border are lightly shaded using a shimmer brush.

The background on this card is shaded using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink and misted water.  The flowers were colored with Tri-Blend alcohol markers

The background is vellum paper which was colored with Tri-Blend Markers and then 91% alcohol was dripped to help spread the ink.  The images were stamped on top of the vellum with Archival Ink and then colored with colored pencils.

The image was stamped with Intense Black ink on ordinary white tissue (wrapping) paper and colored with alcohol markers.  When dry, the tissue paper was balled up and then umcrumpled.  The tissue paper was then glued to white daisy cardstock using a glue stick and gently applied to the cardstock so as to maintain the textured background.  Shimmer brush was added to the center of each blossom and then flicked a bit over the background.
