Using Sending You Well Wishes
Flowers on the birdhouse are colored with colored pencils and a white gel pen. The flowers around the border are lightly shaded using a shimmer brush.
Using Gnome Matters
|The background on this card is shaded using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink and misted water. The flowers were colored with Tri-Blend alcohol markers|
Using Spruced Up and With Deepest Sympathy
The background is vellum paper which was colored with Tri-Blend Markers and then 91% alcohol was dripped to help spread the ink. The images were stamped on top of the vellum with Archival Ink and then colored with colored pencils.
Using Cherry Blossoms
The image was stamped with Intense Black ink on ordinary white tissue (wrapping) paper and colored with alcohol markers. When dry, the tissue paper was balled up and then umcrumpled. The tissue paper was then glued to white daisy cardstock using a glue stick and gently applied to the cardstock so as to maintain the textured background. Shimmer brush was added to the center of each blossom and then flicked a bit over the background.
