Kids Valentine Workshop, Anyone?

Several years ago I offered a Valentine making workshop for kids -- "Mom and Me", "Gram and Me" type workshop where kids could work with an adult to make valentines for their classmates or for family members. The cards would also be appropriate for an adult to make to send to kids.

•  Just wondering if there is interest in that type of a workshop again. The cards would be stamped with possibly a little coloring -- probably no paper layers. 
• Let me know if you'd be interested. The workshop would most likely be held on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.  
• These are examples from the last workshop.  They folded in half and then were sealed with a heart sticker.

New Year Goals

Mojo Monday

One of my goals this year is to make more frequent entries on my blog.  One of the ways to do that is to participate in some card and scrapbooking challenges.  For the past few years I have using the MOJO Monday sketches for some of my cards, but have never submitted a card.  This is it.  Today is the day I submit my first card for MOJO326

It's a 4 1/4 inch square card. 

I used the following CTMH products:

• Black cardstock 
• the Outdoor denim print is from the Pro Player kit - X7172B
• Black shimmer trim - Z1809
• The silver glitter paper is from the Black and Grey Glitter Paper pack - Z1829
• The penguin is from the Hostess Reward stamp set C1560 - Wintry Wishes

Come join the fun! 

• Drop in any time beginning at 1:00 p.m. and stay as long as your schedule allows
• Work on your own project, finish a workshop project, make cards from my workshop drawers
• Use my inks, stamps, Cuttlebug, Cricut etc.  
• Bring your own basic supplies
• Cardstock, tombow refills, and individual accessory pieces can be purchased if you need them
• A hot sandwich or casserole and beverages are provided - bring a snack to share
• No charge -- however, donations for Operation Smile would be appreciated
• Please call or email to let me know if you plan to come by November 20th.

November Scrapbook Workshop

• Drop in beginning at 1:00 through the evening hours.
• Bring your own basic supply kit: paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, pop dots, and any other favorite scrapping tools you may have
• Reserve your spot and order your Pro-Player paper pack, accessory pack, and "share pack" by November 10.
• Cutting guides are provided and individual help will be given as needed
• If you are not in the area and would like a kit and cutting guide for the following layouts, please email me.
