November Special

Never tried Studio J?

Well, here's a great chance to start and see what you've been missing!

November marks the five-year anniversary of Studio J®, and that means it’s your lucky month, with five amazing ways to win through Studio J and Close To My Heart social media!

What's Studio J, you ask?  It's CTMH's on-line scrapbooking program.  Now you can try it out on my website FREE!   You will need to set up a customer account, but don't worry, that doesn't obligate you to anything!  Just click here to see.

So here's the deal!

1.  First, throughout the month of November, all layouts purchased in Studio J are only $5! That is a savings of over 25% off of retail!

2.  Your second chance to win big must come by sheer luck: every fifth order placed in Studio J during November receives a FREE surprise Close To My Heart accessory in its shipping box! The accessory has a retail value of $5 or more.

3. If luck doesn’t smile on you in that way, you might stumble upon it by finding a little extra something in your Studio J box. Five “golden tickets” will be sent out during the month of November with randomly selected Studio J print orders. This “golden ticket” is redeemable for one of Close To My Heart’s new D-ring albums* loaded with 10 Top Load Memory ProtectorsTM.

4.  For a fourth way to win, simply create new, gorgeous layouts in Studio J, select your favorites, and then post pictures of them on Close To My Heart’s Facebook page using the hashtag #ctmhlucky5.  After November 30, five lucky winners will be selected from the entries based on their artistry and creativity and each of these winners will receive their own D-ring album loaded with 10 Top Load Memory Protectors!

5.  And there is one last way to win: take your new Studio J artwork and post a picture of it on Instagram using the hashtag #ctmhlucky5.  Just as it is with Facebook, after November 30, five lucky winners will be selected from the entries to receive their own D-ring album loaded with 10 Top Load Memory Protectors!

To make things even more exciting, starting November 1, five brand new kits from the Annual Inspirations idea book will be made available in Studio J, so you can create new artwork using the latest papers and embellishments from Close To My Heart. With so many ways to win,
five may be new your new lucky number! Log in to Studio J and start creating today.

*Offer valid November 1–30, 2014. Pattern and color of new D-ring album to be given
to winners will be at Close To My Heart’s discretion based upon availability. New kits available in Studio J
®
on November 1 include Confetti Wishes, Snowhaven, Seaside, Pathfinding, and Scaredy Cat. No tax or shipping will be charged on the free item(s). Studio J layouts ship in a protected box that can hold from 4 to 50 two-page layouts.

For this layout I used this stamp set to random stamp for my background and texture paper.
You might notice a slight shine on the yellow candies on the right side.  I covered them with Liquid Glass to make it look like the cellophane wrappers on candy.

Here is a closer look at the random stamping.

Products used
Card stock:  Cranberry, Topiary and White Daisy
Inks: Cranberry, Topiary, and Canary
Accessories: Bling Gems Gold, Gold Shimmer Trim, and Liquid Glass
Merry Christmas was cut from gold glitter paper from the Brown and Tan Glitter Paper Pack using the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

National Stamping Month 30 Years of Happy

National Stamping Month Blog Hop

Close to my Heart is celebrating our 30 year anniversary with a super cute stamp set called 30 Years of Happy!  And the best part is that you can get this stamp set absolutely FREE with an order of $30 or more in stamps!  That’s right – absolutely free!  However, this offer is only good from September 1 – 30, so be sure to get yours before it’s gone!

If you are coming from Michelle's blog, you are on the right path.

I'm so glad you stopped by to see my work during this fun blog hop.
There are just so many creative ways to use these great little stamps: bookmarks, lunch notes, gift cards, random stamping and so many more.  So beside my ideas,  you will get wonderful inspiration for this stamp set from approximately 40 consultants as you "hop" around the loop.  All you need to do is click on the next consultant's name at the end of this post.  Don't forget to pin your favorites.

For this hop, I made some gift bags that could be filled with treats or several handmade cards.
Gift bags: Designer Creations Honey Paper Bags  Z2039 $3.95

In addition to cardstock, I used Baker's twine on this gift bag.
The dotted card stock was embossed using one of our embossing folders and then rubbed with chocolate ink.
Dot Embossing Folder Z1924 $8.95. The flower is from A Budding Friendship D1602 $17.95.
I created this card with entering it in last week's Color Dare Challenge in mind using Lagoon, Sorbet, and  Flaxen with random stamping.  I went on  a fabulous bus trip, however, and never got the card posted.

You might also recognize the word Love from the September Stamp of the Month, Family is Forever.

Thanks for stopping by.  Remember, you get this stamp FREE this month when you purchase $30 in stamps from Close To My Heart only during the month of September.  Contact your CTMH consultant, or me, to get yours.

Your next stop along the hop is Judy Faye Garner's blog.  If you get lost along the way, check Melinda's blog for a complete list so you can hop back in.
