Glad you could join us today!  Hope that you are doing well and were able to enjoy and celebrate Easter in some way, although different than any tradition you may have in the past.

Documented Scrapbook Layouts

Just loved working with this paper pack, the matching complements, titles, and dots.  This paper pack will be retiring tomorrow, August 31, so order right away if it appeals to you the way it did to me.

Need to give a shout out of thanks to sister consultant, Brenda Rose, for the inspiration for this layout.  

I really liked her layout and used many of her ideas on mine.

Using the Documented complements, titles,  and dots for this set of layouts really added a lot. 

The frame around the Open New Doors is the scrap left over after pulling off the sticker Live your story. I trimmed around the edges and put it on the eggplant CS before stamping the phrase.

Love the idea of finding the right photos to put behind the windows in this layout.

Just thinking about how looking at disappointments or other sad  good byes in life may open to new possibilities.  Many different ideas came to mind as I worked with the paper with the doors and windows.  To be honest, when I first saw that paper, I couldn't imagine how to use it.  Once I got going, more and more ideas popped into my mind.

The words Beautiful and Memories were cut out of the packaging for the
complements for this paper suite.  The floral panels used in the corners are the 
Picture My Life Cards from this paper pack.

February - 2 page scrapbook workshop

The layout we will use for this month's workshop is based on a design 

from Jeanette Lynton's Cherish, Scrapbook Layouts.

Workshop - Tuesday, February 7, 6:30 pm

(sorry this post is late!  I forgot to hit publish)

For this workshop, bring 8 to 10 related photos.  You get to choose the paper, embellishments, and whatever else you need to complete your own layout from my stash.  So it can be any themed layout you need: masculine, school, baby, party ....  

If you're a beginner, I'll help you read the cutting guide and teach you how to trim photos.  Bring a 12" paper trimmer, scissors, and scrapbook adhesive.  All this fun for only $8.

My work for this blog hop features the Nevermore Paper pack.  I just love the new Eggplant color that is included in this paper pack. This paper pack is wonderful for Halloween layouts, however since I will am using these layouts for my October - 6 Page Workshop and most of my ladies do not use Halloween layouts, I designed these for use with Fall pictures. 

For those who do want Halloween layouts, the basic layouts can be transformed by replacing the Artistry die cuts used here with either Halloween themed die cuts or the absolutely delightful Nevermore complements (shown below my layouts).

Die-cuts on this layout are from the CTMH Artistry Cricut Cartridge, p. 44. 

and shaded using our ShinHan  Touch Twin Markers. 

 The scroll work along the sides of these pages is from the CTMH Artistry Cricut Cartridge, p. 44.  Silver sequins were added for a little bling.  The cool thing about these sequins is that you can change them to any color you would like by coloring them with our ShinHan Touch Twin markers.

The wreath and leaves for these pages are from the CTMH Artistry Cricut Cartridge, p.44. The Artistry collection is available both as a physical cartridge and as a digital collection.

$25 Workshop includes Zoe paper pack, Zoe complements, cutting directions, supplemental paper pack, and additional Cricut cuts.   Materials need to be pre-ordered.  I do have one extra kit on hand for this workshop.  Others can be ordered.  Workshop attendees should bring a 12 inch paper trimmer,  scissors, adhesive, pop dots, and any other favorite scrapping tools.

Basically the same layout with different paper.  See what a
difference a paper choice can make.

Bring your own related pictures (8 - 12), choose your own paper 
from my stash to coordinate with them,

and create your layout.  We will be using the pattern above.

Bring your own adhesive, pop dots, scissors, paper trimmer and

any other favorite scrapping tools you may have.

$8 for the workshop covers the cutting directions, card stock, Cricut cuts, any accessories or 

embellishments you would like to use on your two page layout and my help (if you need it).  
You may make more than layout if you have time - just pay for the extra paper. 
There are still a few spots open, so just call or email by Monday, September 21st.

I decided to use this stamp set  for my May Scrapbook Workshop pages 

using the Blossom paper pack.  A closer look at the elements created using the stamp set is posted below the layouts.

This layout was inspired by one done by Brenda Rose on Rose Blossom Legacies with Hopscotch papers.

April Scrapbook Workshop

Brushed Paper Pack

3 double page layouts

These are the layouts we completed at our April Workshop (April 20th) using the Brushed paper pack and Brushed complements with a supplement pack of Cricut cut-outs and extra card stock.

Layouts A and B are on white base pages.  To get the wavy edges we used a cutter from Creative Memories.  The complements for this paper pack are vellum.  To use them on this layout, we cut them out with the backing on and then used pop-dots to adhere them to the layout.

    Layouts C and D are on Juniper card stock.  The branches and flowers were cut out from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and the trellis work is from the CTMH Artbooking Cartridge.  The flowers on the trellis are from the Brushed Complements.  We kept the backing on them since they are vellum and  the background paper would have shown through.  We used the  Pretty Petals Flair (C1599) and a stamp of the month from last Fall, It's the Little Things (S1411)stamp sets for the flowers along the edge of the page.

    Layouts E and F are on white daisy base pages.  With the white background we were able to use the vellum complements without the backing.  The center pattern for these layouts was cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The word Spring was stamped using Pear ink and the Polka Dot Alphabet Stamp set (D1469).
