Thanks to all who came to my Open House this past Tuesday.  It was so much fun visiting and sharing the new CTMH products with you.   The random drawings for the prizes I offered took place today.

My project features our new Designed Decor Red Magnetic Chalkboard (Z2006) and paper from the Snowhaven Paper Packet (x7188B) and Snowhaven Complements (X7188C)

The larger medallions were made using the Artiste Cartridge.  The embellishments are from the Ruby Mini-Medley Accents Collection (Z1861).

The chalkboard can be hung either horizontally as above, or vertically as pictured below.

I plan to use this in my kitchen as a memo board, but right now it is set to 

go for my CTMH Open House.  I added magnetic tape to the backs of the 

mini-clothespins and some of the Snowhaven complements.

This month we have more than 60 creative consultants from Close To My Heart participating in this blog hop. This month we are featuring What A Hoot stamp set with 17 stamps.  What a fun and whimsical set to work with for cards, layouts, or other creative projects!  There are so many ways to give each owl its own personality with varying googly eyes or by dressing it up.  This stamp set is also great for coloring with our fantastic new markers or for paper piecing.

This month I paired this stamp set with a new paper kit, Pathfinding to create a fun layout to use when the I capture the grandkids' delight when playing in the Fall leaves.  

First, I stamped the owls on the Champagne card stock, then I stamped the owls on Pathfinding B&T papers to paper piece each one.  The wings and hats were popped with dimensional tape.

Materials used:

Paper:  All found in the Pathfinding Kit  - X7186B 

Inks: Chocolate, Autumn Terracotta

ShinHan Touch Twin Markers:  Turqoise Blue Z2465,  Marigold Z2457, and Mahogany Z2456

Shimmer Trim - Bronze -Z1849
Acorns and leaves were cut from Barn Red, Autumn Terracotta, and Champagne card stock using the Art Philosphy Cricut Cartridge.

Base pages are Indian Corn Blue.  Picture mats use Cranberry and Colonial white paper.  Summertime and other embellishments are from the Jubilee Complements. X718C

Base pages are Indian Corn Blue.  Picture mats use Outdoor Denim, Honey, and Colonial White cardstock.  One of the paper pack zip strips was used along the left side.  White twine was used along with the complements on this page.

Base pages on this layout are Colonial White.  The picture mats are Kraft and Chocolate Cardstock.  The Cranberry B&T was cut on the diagonal and then the strips for the second side of the layout were cut from the left over diagonal piece.  This layout looks great turned 90 degrees so that the picture mat is horizontal rather than vertical.

CTMH Cricut Art Philosopy (p.40)  was used for cutting the stars and CTMH Cricut Artbooking was used for cutting the overlay(p.64) and starbursts and star streamers (p.65).  
The second page of this layout can also be turned so the 4 x 6 pictures are horizontal instead of the vertical position.
