Playing with color, chevrons, and washi tape

Atlantic Hearts Challenge Sketch #39

I've been looking through my cards and realized that I could use more cards that might be appropriate for those who aren't the floral or fancy-fussy card type.  So I played with the colors suggested in this week's Color My Heart Color Dare#77 and the sketch for the Atlantic Hearts Challenge #39.  Several colors would not have been the choices I would have put together, but I do like they way they look here.  (CTMH colors: Smokey Plum, Cranberry,  Sunset, Honey,  Juniper)   I was too late to post to the Color Dare Challenge, but I enjoyed playing with the colors.
I will be offering this as a card to make at my February 11 card workshop.

  1. Such a fun card! LOVE the rainbow chevron you created, with stamps and washi, right? This is a great design--you could try it in a monochromatic colour scheme, too. Thanks for brightening my day, and for sharing with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge.

  9. Kathy, I am a big fan of clean and simple cards and I love how you have so much pattern and color and still pull off the CAS look so perfectly!
